Hello Mrs John, I wanted to let you know how impressed we are with the improvement in Oliver's pencil grip - it's amazing the difference this term has made - he couldnt wait to do his homework on Friday to show me that he could use the pencil 'properly'! The Early Years Christnas Extravaganza was fantastic! Well done to all the fantastic singers and speakers from Nursery and Reception classes, and to all the staff who obviously worked incredibly hard to make it all happen!!

Merry Christmas everyone.

WELL DONE to all the teachers who have worked so hard on the concerts this year they were fantastic. Can't wait to see the yr 6 leavers one in the summer. Think we should have a school choir though we have some really good singing voices in the school

I have really enjoyed my year in Nursery with Mrs John, i have made lots of new friends and have had a fab time and will be really sad to leave next week. My mum thinks everyone at the Nursery is the best and can't thank them all enough, she will miss you all aswell.

Well Done to all the musicians tonight it was a fantastic concert. Cant wait to hear the orchestra if we have one. That would be fantastic.

I've really enjoyed my year with Mrs Jones in year 3. I have had many wonderful experiences and taken part in loads of activities. The best so far was, when I played Duchess Mindy in the school spring/summer play. I hope I can do as well with my violin lessons? I'm looking forward to being with Mrs Jones again in year 4 & hope it's as good as this year has been. Mrs Jones you are the best, thank you!

Mair and I really enjoyed catching up with all the different pictures on the website. We would love to see more from the school trip to Barry Island. Mair particuarly enjoyed making sand castle and jumping in the "sandy" puddles.

Rachel and i enjoy regularly looking for updates on the nursery class pages.I feel very proud that my child is in a school where children and parents play an important part and are able to look back on recent events.I hope as Rachel passes through the school that all years will update on the activities that have been done what a difference it makes. Thanks to Mrs John and her team for making Rachels first year in school a memorable and pleasant one.

All of the children did Twyn proud.

My mother and I set up a
band called Delta blue and we play at o a p homes however l the violin in and outside school. My mother plays and compose on piano, guitar and mandolin. Me being able to play a few instrements we put the band together. We have a blog called delta blue and have a nother thing in comman about Aspire musical theatre group.
However it is a acting group who are puting on a musical about bullying and freindship it is a great piece of entertanment and I was inspied to write this advert because we would like the biggest audience we can get to watch this sensatianal play about bullying and because I however are a pupil at the school. I hope to catch as many peoples eyes as I can. I being James Jones. There is somthing for everyone in this play from humour to happeness. People of all ages will be entertaned and however as well as being done live it is changed to radio. Voice fm (Local Caerphilly county bourgh radio) will broadcast the play shortly after it being perfomed on stage.

The play will be showen in Bargoed.

Mair and I have just been looking at all the wonderful pictures in the early years section on the website, they are great!

The jolly phonics area is very useful as it teaches us the correct way to sound out the letters that Mair and all the children are learning.

My husband & I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Ward & all the teachers who have helped Richard over the last few years. I go to the Twyn School. I am in class 5G. My teacher is Mr Griffiths. For our page for the new website I think that the following could be included:
- what the children think of school
- what could be improved
- and other things.
This could be laid out so that each class member writes their own comments under consistent specific headings.
of interest as identified by Mr Griffiths. Children could be asked to work on this as they complete their other work quickly.

it was a wonderful website it was a shame that there was no photos of the chidren and teachers :-)
