We have been learning how to look after our teeth. We are lucky to have such kind and clever parents who do such different and interesting things. We are really grateful for the support of all our parents as they help us with learning. Today one mum taught us about her job and our teeth. Now we know the best way to brush our teeth and gums, that we should brush for two minutes twice a day (four minutes for grown ups) and that it is important to visit the dentist surgery. Please bring your snowman/lady/sculpture pictures into school so that we can put them on our wall display (14/1/10) We planted bulbs with our friends from Tidy Towns
Homework Reception are now computer wizards and we are going to make our own games to play at home to support the things we do in school. Have a go at our first few games, hear our childrens voices on them...

We aim to develop ‘child centred ‘ learning, to nurture enquiring minds and encourage curiosity with a desire to learn. We want our children to be highly motivated, life-long learners who achieve high standards in all areas of learning. Myself and my hard working team of ladies – Mrs Tatnell , Mrs Poole and Mrs Surridge - not only help the children to work independently but also to collaborate effectively as part of a team. So please take a few minutes to see what fun we’ve been up to already. Hopefully, you will enjoy looking at what we have been doing and will regularly visit our page to follow our progress through our Reception Year. Although the accent is American, the sounds are well presented.
Alot of research has been carried out to create this resource.
A fun way to learn.
Some really daft games here, but children love them.
